The Rainbow Registered Program recognizes market ready businesses and organizations that are receptive to LGBT+ customers. The Program is based on criteria that define the required standards of practice and are informed by National Guidelines. Street parking is available throughout downtown.

The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia does not maintain public
parking and is not responsible for ticketing, associated costs, or impoundment.

Accessibility

The AGNS is wheelchair accessible. If assistance or use of a temporary wheelchair is required, please visit our Welcome Desk on arrival.

Only service animals are permitted in the Gallery. These animals must be specifically trained and certified to perform tasks that assist a person with a disability. Emotional support or therapy animals are not permitted as animals that offer comfort but are not specifically trained or certified are not considered service animals.

Please note that backpacks, food, drinks, large bags, and umbrellas are not permitted in Gallery spaces. These items must be stored in our coatroom and lockers are also available. Photography is allowed, without flash.
