Camps
The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia works with artists and art educators to provide a diverse array of high-quality studio art camps. Students are introduced to a range of art materials and art processes, and are encouraged to use their imaginations, experiment and try new things, ask questions, and express themselves with a sense of curiosity and discovery.
The Permanent Collection and special exhibitions offer unique teaching opportunities to enhance learning and a greater appreciation of ways to use materials, approach various subject matter, and understand more about historical, cultural, and contemporary ideas.

Each of our week-long classes will explore a range of art making techniques, materials, and ideas, from drawing and painting to three-dimensional projects and everything in between!

MARCH BREAK CAMPS
Our week-long art camps are led by local artist-educators, inviting kids to experiment with art materials and visit the Gallery’s exhibitions to spark inspiration.
With plenty of room for imagination, curiosity and hands-on fun, campers build confidence in their creativity, and head home with a collection of unique artworks!
