Code of Conduct

AGNS Art Camps are designed to foster creativity, learning, and respect in a safe and inclusive space for all campers, staff, and instructors. This Code of Conduct helps to ensure that everyone contributes to a positive and supportive environment. Before camp begins, please review this Code of Conduct together with your camper(s).

The Following Behaviours Are Not Acceptable At Camp

  • Inappropriate language, including threats and raised voices.
  • Inappropriate behaviour, including bullying, or repeated disruptions.
  • Physical violence, including damaging materials, artwork or property.
  • Discrimination based on differences or similarities between campers.

Our Staff And Instructors Will Use A Multi-Step Approach To Guide Positive Behaviour

  • Reminder & Redirection – A staff member will talk with the camper(s) to address concerns and reinforce expectations.
  • Parental Communication & Support – Staff will discuss behaviour and strategies with parents/guardians at pick-up time.
  • Disciplinary Action (if required) – Continued concerns may lead to temporary removal from an activity or other appropriate actions. Staff will document incidents and share updates with parents/guardians via phone, email, or in person.
  • Dismissal from Camp – If unsafe or disruptive behaviour continues without improvement, staff may determine that the camper(s) cannot continue in the program.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Code of Conduct Policy, or if there are ways we can better support your camper(s) to meet these expectations, please reach out before camp starts at info@agns.ca. Together, we create a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for every camper!
