Place In Mind features two works by Halifax-based ceramic artist Annika Sinclair; Dinner with Nan and The Cottage.
Each pays tribute to her grandparents’ family cottage—a place that she has visited since early childhood.
Filled with compelling detail, each work is portrayed in vastly different scales from one another; a collection of ceramic dinnerware, and a hand-build ceramic model, sharing with the viewer the deep personal connection to a place that holds generations of collective memory and pastime.
Curated by: Fabiyino Germain-Bajowa and Michael McCormack.
