Open Doors to Free Access

Art for the next generation of Nova Scotians

Art can be transformational. Engaging with art can help spark curiosity and connection. At the AGNS, we want as many people as possible to have an opportunity to experience our exhibitions, take in activities, and access the collection. Improving accessibility to the arts, especially for young people, is more important than ever.

That’s why from April 1, 2026, all Nova Scotia residents under 25 will have unlimited free access to the AGNS with a Free Access Pass.

Sustainable access for the future

Every $300 donated helps provide free access to the AGNS for 10 young Nova Scotians, giving them a Free Access Pass to return to the Gallery again and again.

Your gift will help us take a bold step towards accessibility, inclusivity, and help young Nova Scotians build lifelong engagement with the arts at a time when they need it more than ever.

Help us reach our $25,000 goal

Make your gift today and it will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to The Spatz Foundation—doubling your gift and ensuring that Free Access Passes will continue for years to come.
