March Break Drop-in Activity: Stitching with the Jipijka’m and artist Diane Langevin

Try your hand at embroidery and stitching in a family-friendly atmosphere with artist Diane Langevin! Explore Diane’s jipijka’m serpent sculptures in Conversation Threads: Storytelling with Jipijka’m that feature designs created by the artist and communities in HRM. 

These serpents are found throughout Mi’kmaw legends as well as in petroglyphs (etched rock drawings) in Kejimkujik Park (Maitland Bridge, NS). Embroider a piece of jipijka’m to represent your own interests and stories.

*Activity included with admission. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
