What is a planned gift? A planned gift is a charitable donation arranged during a donor’s lifetime, directing some, or all, of the donor’s estate to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia – either in the present or in the future. Your donation can be made with a specific purpose in mind and tailored to suit your particular interests and preferences. These can include bequests, retirement plan assets, life insurance policies, gifts of securities, endowments, or gifts of artwork. We encourage you to consult with your tax, financial, and/or legal advisors about your personal situation and long-term goals.
