The Ambitious Art Fund provides essential support for the core initiatives that sustain the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Your gift supports exhibitions, public programs, and education offerings that bring art into everyday life.
Making Art Experiences Possible
One of the ways this support is felt most directly is through the Gallery’s art-making spaces where more than 6,000 visitors and young people each year take part in hands-on art-making experiences. The Ambitious Art Fund makes these experiences possible by supporting:
- Art-making activities inspired by our exhibitions
- A dedicated creative space at the Gallery
- Holiday and School Visit programming
- Partnerships with artists from across Nova Scotia
- The materials and staff that bring these experiences to life
The Ambitious Art Fund helps sustain this work by supporting our arts programming team, subsidizing materials, and enabling the AGNS to collaborate with artists from across the province to share their practices with our visitors.
