Ambitious Art Fund

The Ambitious Art Fund provides essential support for the core initiatives that sustain the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Your gift supports exhibitions, public programs, and art education offerings that bring art into everyday life.

One of the ways this support is felt most directly is through our art-making spaces, where more than 6,000 visitors and young people take part each year in hands-on art-making experiences. Activities are offered alongside our main exhibition in a dedicated creative space, as well as during holidays and through the School Visit Program, offering opportunities for young people to engage directly with art and creative practices.

The Ambitious Art Fund helps sustain this work by supporting our arts programming team, subsidizing materials, and enabling the AGNS to collaborate with artists from across the province to share their practices with our visitors.
