Free Access Until January 14, 2024

With the goal of building healthier communities, the AGNS is offering free admission to all Nova Scotians until January 14, 2024 as a pilot project. Experience all of the exhibitions on view including Generations: The Sobey Family & Canadian Art, Ta’n a’sikatikl sipu’l | Confluence, and the Maud Lewis Gallery.
Numerous studies have linked the visual arts to improved health and well-being, so we want to ensure that all Nova Scotians have access to art and art experiences, which help reduce stress, support emotional healing, and enhance cognitive abilities.
This pilot program aims to remove financial barriers and increase access to the arts for all Nova Scotians.
Registration and proof of residence will be required at the welcome desk upon entry, which may include ID, mail, student ID or other items. Regular admission will apply to non-Nova Scotia residents.
