SUMMARY:Hands-On Art Making - Nipniku’s: Forest in Bloom 
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in anytime during open hours for hands-on art-making and collaborative creation in Nipniku’s! \n\n\n\nIn the Mi’kmaw lunar calendar\, Nipniku’s (pronounced nib-nee-goos) marks the time of year when the trees are blooming. Inspired by the exhibition From One to Many Natures\, visitors are invited to create their own piece to add to a collaborative artistic forest that represents each one of us and our stories.  \n\n\n\nSuitable for all ages however\, children must always be accompanied by an adult. No registration required but space is limited. Included in the price of admission.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a conversation between acclaimed British artist Sonia Boyce\, DBE RA HonFBA\, award winning singer-songwriter Cyndi Cain\, and filmmaker\, writer and artist Sylvia D. Hamilton\, CM ONS\, moderated by multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur Tara L. Taylor.   \n\n\n\nIn celebration of the opening of Sonia Boyce: Feeling Her Way at its last stop on the North American presentation\, this talk will speak to the powerful histories of Black female musicians\, and their contributions to the music and arts industries\, in both Britain and Nova Scotia. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nRegistration suggested due to limited seats\, but walk-ins are welcome. This event is included in the price of admission. \n\n\n\nAbout Creative Minds\n\n\n\nThe Creative Minds series hosts community leaders and creatives to respond to current events\, exhibitions on view\, or artworks in the Gallery.
