While you’re there take in some of many activities in the Wonder’neath studio at their collage\, needle-felt\, and painting stations. All materials provided. \n\n\n\nTime slots are 10am-12pm & 1-4pm \n\n\n\nThis free art experience is ideally suited for school aged kids and older. All kids must be accompanied by a guardian.

DESCRIPTION:Join artist Meggie Richards at Halifax Shopping Centre for a free painting workshop for families with kids age 8+. Meggie will lead you through making your very own spring-inspired mixed media painting! Get creative using stencils\, paints\, markers and more! \n\n\n\nSessions are from 12-1pm and 1:30-2:30pm. All materials provided. \n\n\n\nThis event is free however space is limited so pre-registration is required. \n\n\n\n\nPre-Register Today\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Artist\n\n\n\nMeggie Richards is a queer\, interdisciplinary artist from Waverley\, Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD University. Richards has had solo exhibitions\, a residency at the Centre for Craft\, multiple group-shows\, and currently teaches in NSCAD’s extended studies program. Her work is bright\, colorful\, and abstract. Richards has a passion for teaching and sharing her technical skills. It is her belief that everyone has the ability to create and to find the power within that act.
